Archbishop Rosales is now a Cardinal

Thank you, Lord for granting us another Cardinal. May he be ready defend Your teachings and those of Your Holy Bride, our Church, even unto the point of getting scorn and contempt from the modern world and even unto the point of martyrdom.

May You grant that he take the lead among his brother Filipino bishops in preaching the true teachings of the Second Vatican Council; may you grant him the grace and courage not to be politically-correct when being so would compromise Your message to us Your oftentimes jaded followers.

May You grant that he take the lead among his brother Filipino bishops in teaching us:
"Sancta sanctis! Holy things for the holy!"

For You are our strength and portion in the land of the living, and we glorify You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever. Amen.
